Recycling Baler Cylinder Repair

One of our local clients recently experienced a significant crack along the barrel of a recycling baler cylinder. The reduction of downtime was paramount.  Our experienced team sourced a replacement barrel, which required machining to meet the sizing specifications of the original barrel. The trunnion mount from the original cylinder was removed and reused on the new barrel. The piston was machined off the shaft and a new piston was manufactured. The shaft was polished and new seals were installed. The cylinder was returned to our client and we assisted with the re-installation into the baler.
